A distinguished professional with extensive expertise in real estate and residential appraisal, Peter Gallo serves as a broker associate for Premier Sotheby's International Realty's Charlotte office. As a certified residential appraiser in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and New York, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse skill set to the real estate industry.

A 1990 graduate of The Canisius College of Buffalo, Peter almost immediately began his career in real estate as an appraiser and broker, eventually also branching out into luxury home building with his company, Vision Homes.

In 2004, Peter and his family chose Charlotte, North Carolina as the setting for their future. Peter opened HomeSight Appraisal and developed it into the largest residential appraisal firm in Charlotte. Partnering with Premier Sotheby's International Realty as a global real estate advisor is a natural fit with the firm's legacy of providing its clients with top-level knowledge, experience and care. Peter's extensive valuation experience includes unique, early 20th-century mansions, historically significant residential properties, as well as complex custom residential existing and new construction.

Peter's commitment to real estate extends beyond his direct work. He is well-educated about the industry and is actively involved in leadership roles and committees within the National Association of REALTORS®(NAR), North Carolina REALTORS®, and Canopy REALTOR® Association. His contributions include chairing and vice-chairing committees, such as the NAR Real Property Valuation Committee and the NAR Real Property Valuation Forum. Additionally, he has served on the Canopy REALTOR® Association MLS Board of Directors and the Mecklenburg County Revaluation Citizen Advisory Committee.
